Lazy week this week!

So i haven't been furiously trying to get much done online this week, but I was still able to order a few things anyway!

I was ready to order Battlestar Galactica (The Board Game.) It has great reviews everywhere and I have wanted it for quite a while. However my wife has been set on getting a Booster Seat for Ian as he is outgrowing the Bumbo we've had him in for the past little while.

With my MTurk balance and my leftover Clover Earnings, I decided I would downsize on the game this week and got a much cheaper but highly desired game called: Bohnanza

I have heard nothing but awesome reviews about it, from /r/boardgames and figure it will fit in perfectly with the family on all sides!

I also decided to help my wife out and bought a Regalo Right Height Booster Seat, Watermelon for Ian to try out.

Also because I don't already have enough books I decided to throw in the first book of an epic fantasy series: Gardens of the Moon (The Malazan Book of the Fallen, Vol. 1) because, well, I still have at least five other books to finish before I can start on another 10,000+ page series! It sounds excellent and maybe in about a year when I get around to reading it, I'll let you know what I think!

Note: Anyone who is using MTurk please be aware there is a new Subreddit up by Justin (HITSworthTurkingfor) that basically helps finding the good Paying Turks even easier. Check it out at /r/hitsworthturkingfor

  1. I've been MTurking for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be a great way to earn some hobby money for games. Thanks for introducing me to it!

While I like Bohnanza, I've found that the two player game is way different than the 3+ game. I found the 2-player version to be kind of dull but love it with more players. I'm curious to see what you think.

Definitely keep BSG on your list though. Played it a few times lately and I can't get enough of it.

    1. Sorry man I thought I had already replied to your comment, apparently not!

Thanks for the thoughts on Bohnanza! It seems like a nice game for the extended family. Doubt that my wife and I will play it too much by ourselves.

I definitely want BSG though. I've wanted it for a while, and since Amazon is hell bent to keep me from getting Cosmic Encounter, I figure it will be one of the next ones I get.

I don't worry so much that it might not get played alot, because I'm out nothing to buy it!

  3. Hi…I think it is destiny that I accidently stumbled and fell into your website. You are my savior. It is uncanny that yesterday was the day I was fired or rather pleasantly put, `let go’ from my job, and today you are here with your writing tips on how to make money from home. Now…I give a damn to my day job. My profile already reads `Freelancer’, proudly and happily. I already know that there are some excellent money-making marketplaces like Latest Logo Design, Professional Logo Design. It is time for change. Can you give me more website names? I’m waiting…
