Clover: How it works.

So I posted about Clover yesterday and just threw together a quick blurb about it. I think there are a lot of people that are interested but aren't quite sure about it. Here is a little more in depth guide to what it is, and how you can make money informing other people about it.



In all reality, if you haven't heard much about it, you really need to watch this 1 minute video so it will explain what it is exactly.



Now that you know WHAT clover is, lets quickly go over HOW you use it.

Because Clover is new, and apparently have some serious financial backing, they decided to forgo an advertising budget, and do a "paid referral" advertising campaign. To download the App you need to be invited. Here is a look at the structure for referrals:

Firstly: I would like to point out that I am not a Fan of Multi-Level Marketing/Pyramid Schemes.  I don't like harassing my friends/family, therefore I am never profitable at any of those types of Ventures.

I do however feel differently about Clover. There are no offers to sign up for, no constant annoying emails, they don't sell your user data, or try to push unwanted content. You Literally install the App. and they offer you $5. It's free money.

Now I will explain what it takes to get that money.

If you don't want to enter a credit card then you have to wait around for a Green Membership to become available. They can take up to a week or more. My wife when I told her to use my invite, got one automatically. (After I waited around for 3 days and finally decided to put in a Credit Card to go to Gold Membership.. Go figure.) A Green Membership requires 2 things: A Username & Password.

With a Green Membership you are first awarded $1 for signing up. So now your balance is at $6. You have a few option of what you can do with that money:

You can pay somebody (Red Box): Basically means you can send it to any of your friends that have clover.

Or withdraw your money (Blue Box) This works in one of two ways:

To Bank Account: Basically link your bank account to Clover and then you can deposit it directly into your checking account. I have not done this but friends that have both said it took about a week for the funds to get deposited.

To PayPal: Same thing, it will send the money to your PayPal Account.

Amazon.com Gift Code: You give them an email address and they email you the gift code for whatever amount you want (Minimum $5) It takes 1 minute and you just use that code next time you checkout on Amazon.

From the image above you can see that you can also request money from  your friends, see which friends have Clover (Contacts), and Even Invite others to Clover.

Invites = Free Money

With a Green Membership, you are given 2 invites. Each invite is worth $5. So if you invite two friends and they both download clover, and get a membership, you just made $10. (Your friends that signed up also made the $6 each just like you did when you signed up.)

The Math So Far:

Person that invited you: $5

You: $16 ($6=Membership $10=2 Invites)

Friend 1: $6

Friend 2: $6

The Best Part: It costs you nothing! There is no cost to use it, no Membership fee, and no charge for withdraws. If you cash out, and uninstall the App right now, you will never deal with Clover again in your life. You still made $16.

If you don't want to wait for a Green Membership, you can sign up at any time for a Gold Membership.

Gold Membership: Requires you to enter a Credit/Debit card they they would use if you ever wanted to Add funds to your Clover account. That is the only difference. It takes less that 1 extra minute to sign up and your card will NEVER be charged if you don't add funds to your account. There are no sketchy dealings, you have to go into the App and request that they charge your card for whatever amount you want.

The benefits of Gold Membership:

Immediate membership: No waiting for a Green Membership to become available.

17 invites : That's right, 17 memberships that will make you $5 each. ($85 bucks for you and $6 for each friend you sign up)

So the Math with Gold Membership:

 Person that invited you: $5

You $91 ($6=membership $85=17 invites)

Friends 1-17: $6 each (plus their own invites)

BONUS: When someone accepts your invite, you get the $5 immediately. You DO NOT have to wait to sign everybody up and cash out in one Lump Sum.  If you only sign up 5 Friends, that's still $25.
